Alp Bora is a thought-leader, advisor and speaker in the field of mining and metals sector.
Author of Mining is the Future, Alp is passionate about making mining greener, more sustainable, and more attractive for new generations. He is creating a movement to increase awareness of the importance of mining & metals in our day-to-day life -and in the electrification of tomorrow’s economy. With his latest book Aim for it, Alp provides a framework for the new generation on how to be successful in today’s corporate settings. As a leadership coach and speaker, Alp imparts insights on how to improve personal and organizational performance, and create work environments that enable the entire workforce to excel. In 2021, Alp founded Alp Bora & Co., an independent think tank and consulting organization with a mission to help mining & metallurgy companies achieve operational excellence & support the mining industry's transition to a sustainable future. Born and raised in Turkiye, Alp holds a Mechanical Engineering degree with a specialization in Mining Engineering from McGill University. He currently lives in Montréal, Canada. |
